Terms of Service

Last updated: April 21, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RisingStreams (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Quick note: RisingStreams is a public discovery and ranking site. At launch, we primarily use public Twitch data and public stream activity signals.

1. The Service

RisingStreams provides public pages, rankings, and leaderboards for streaming channels. We may add, remove, or change features at any time.

2. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to disrupt the Service (e.g., scraping in a way that harms availability, attacking endpoints, or bypassing rate limits).
  • Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any channel or creator.

3. Accounts and “claiming”

Some features may require creating an account or claiming a channel. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. We may require verification to claim a channel.

4. Public data and rankings

Rankings are computed using algorithms that may evolve over time. We do not guarantee any specific ranking outcome, placement, accuracy, or availability. The Service may show incomplete or delayed data (e.g., rollups may update nightly).

5. Intellectual property

The Service (including designs, code, and ranking methodology) is owned by RisingStreams and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service without permission, except as allowed by law.

6. Third-party platforms

RisingStreams may link to third-party sites (e.g., Twitch) or display public information from them. Those services are not controlled by us and may have their own terms and policies.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if it is necessary to protect the Service or users.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RisingStreams will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date.
